The flag of Paraguay resembles that of many other nations, but it has one feature that is almost unique in the world of flags. The Paraguay flag is one of the few national flags that is different on the obverse and reverse sides. The flag of Paraguay is the only country flag with a different symbol on the front of the flag, than on the back of the flag. The flag is made up of 3 horizontal stripes (red/white & blue) with a symbol centered in the white stripe. On the front of the flag that symbol is the state seal, and on the back it is the treasury seal.
