"Where indicated, our ornaments can be used with a ferrule. A ferrule is used for indoor use on wood poles. When using an ornament for an indoor aluminum pole with a top adapter already installed, a ferrule is not required. The exception to the above is the Elks Head ornament, which is supplied with a threaded rod attached to the bottom and requires a special ferrule for use with our wood indoor poles. Please specify if you require this special ferrule."
